After two successful launch events in Lexington, KY., Light Up Racing is thrilled to be hosted by the Ocala Breeders Sales Company for a night of learning, listening, and lighting up for racing.

This presentation will be centered around the importance of proper techniques to talk to your community about horse racing, how to answer difficult questions from those outside the industry, and transforming negative opinions into positive messaging.

This presentation will be held on Sunday, May 5th from 5-7PM on the 2nd floor of the ITW building of the facility and all guests will be given options for appetizers and drinks generously provided by OBS at no charge.

Light Up Racing’s thought leader, Vicky Leonard, will be giving this presentation and is no stranger to these crucial areas of the industry. Running her own successful thoroughbred marketing agency, Kick Collective in Sydney, Australia, she is leading this new venture in the US racing scene which is modeled on Australia’s own Kick Up for Racing. The model aims to empower industry members with the right knowledge, tools, and resources to be educated advocates of the sport. After seeing tremendous success in Australia, it has been brought to the States with the same purpose.

“We are excited to bring our mission to Florida and share the core values and objectives of Light Up Racing,” says Vicky Leonard. “This presentation is not just about what we aim to achieve, but more importantly, how we plan on doing it and involving all sectors of the industry as we grow. We believe in a future where transparency, community empowerment, and the welfare of horses drive every decision we make. Florida’s vibrant racing community is a fantastic platform for us to engage with like-minded individuals and stakeholders eager to make a positive impact on the sport.”

Light Up Racing is making great strides in providing industry members with the information, skills, and support they need to become empowered ambassadors for horse racing and help shift negative opinions to positive ones.
